History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Dean was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Butcher for hire.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ida was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She worked as a nervous Engraver and found it very stressful. She's also a talented Priest, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and balancing her hectic life and new engraver responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mercenary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He struck the Mercenary job and began his own company from there.
