Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Drifting was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Shepherd. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She takes great joy in being the best Carter in town.

History: Tana was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She tends to her Carter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and her religion dominates her actions

Description: 6'4" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He has done his best to style his white hair to look like a famous performer. His black eyes peer out from beneath his small green hat.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Balam fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
