History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Birel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Sweet hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of dire rats

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he has a crush on the local bricklayer
