Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with singing. She constantly tries to fill her life with singing. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Knight born in the past three hundred years. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Knight. He has worked as a Knight like his mother before him.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Wella was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Wella's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother
