History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Smoking fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born in the south. Meriele was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Meriele decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

History: Cressel was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sellsword hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: Born to a Stableman, his father struggled to pay the bills. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
