However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the drow.

In her 16th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Heward lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.
