History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She married young, but lost her spouse to drow. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Halander was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.
