History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Description: He stands about 5'10" and wears a black coat over a brown low-cut shirt, and a wide-brimmed hat upon his head. His right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his white eyes.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. Astar enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: She is renowned for her bright tan dresses and hats. She has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to her abundance of muscles. Her silver hair is greasy and uncared for. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gifted student she started as a Animal Trainer, but she got bored and became a Spice Merchant. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 15 years.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and she is greedy

Description: Her right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She wears grey robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a warhammer, but if one is not available she will default to her trident. Her brown hair is wavy and long. Her fierce hazel eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Detective and was forced into it by her family.

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Marshal born in the past three hundred years. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He got into the Marshal business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Marshal. He became a Marshal soon after.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Marshal responsibilities is difficult; and wants to open a new tavern
