History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Donaar never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. The war was a terrible time for her, and Carlin does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When Carlin reached her early adolescence her Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the east. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and money/treasure
