Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Hobart hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Through the years after Hobart was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Hobart's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He wears his black hair up in a very large beehive style do. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and revenge

History: Ella was born the youngest of three triplets. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs.

Description: This woman is very fat, and wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty violet coat over it. She has a very tight haircut. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are brown.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Sariel embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the south. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she has money and likes to spend it
