History: Manea hails from a village terrorized by drow. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of drow

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Carter father left him crippled. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
