Description: This dark-skinned female wears violet leather gloves, a violet jacket, and tight pants. She is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her amber eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. The war was a terrible time for her, and Jacoba does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A freak accident while working with her Fletcher mother left her crippled. She has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to dire rats.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a brown vest and prefers grey and tan shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down, and is pretty ugly. His silver hair has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes are violet.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Elaim was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears a pastel cloak and cross-gartered tan stockings. His black fur is matted, messy, and big. This yellow eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 53. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When Tree reached his early adolescence his Tabaxi mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Description: He stands about 5'3" and wears a simple tan robe with violet stripes complete with hood. His right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His chestnut hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. His green eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he's looking for his big break

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears a fancy brown suit. His beige fur is still thick. His copper eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His first spouse was a Bowyer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He's also a talented Bowyer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Seamstress and was forced into it by his family; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
