History: Balifra was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She struck the Carter job and began her own company from there.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
