Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. In his youth he was a Map Maker, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
