History: River hails from a village terrorized by giants. Her parents were killed by giants in a raid when she was still a young child. The giants captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Brogg is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Brogg lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He works hard and plays hard.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Through the years after Torinn was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Torinn's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Torinn and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Egelina hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Egelina was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: This man loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his youth he was a Doctor, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.
