History: Born in the north to a Stableman, Fargrim learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Stableman. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears bulky red painted plate armor. She keeps her long silver hair kept up in a rat tail. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents enrolled her in a Bard school at a young age so that she could practice her divine talents. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His head has been shaved. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Veit grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

Description: This slender man stands about 3'3". He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Howard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He found a children's book about a Halfling Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with broad hat. He sports a long chestnut beard, and similarly colored long hair. His ears are large.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural half-elven artifacts is his passion
