History: Paela was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Gifted from a young age, Jasmine studied abroad. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Tod took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Emeny was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her 20th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Now she works as a writing tutor during her time off.
