History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Sage work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sage work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sage.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it; and balancing her hectic life and new map maker responsibilities is difficult
