Description: An older man who wears a simple blue robe with yellow stripes complete with hood, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is silver and curly. His green unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Painter business.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alvyn grew up listening to his father's many stories. Alvyn was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. Damaia enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. After a long history of fighting, Damaia and her spouse have recently divorced.

Description: He very much looks the part of a Painter. He carries with him a set of halberds, each one with a amethyst on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He wears a feathered hat to hide his balding. His eyes are gray and beady.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Born in the north to a Painter, Carrie learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Painter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Painter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Carrie fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing singing.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: She's attracted to the PC; and she is unsatisfied with her job
