History: Spring lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Leshanna will drive conversation. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Map Maker arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Performer but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in the north to a Performer, Naill learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. After coming to the age of reason, Naill took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and balancing his hectic life and new performer responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
