History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Shane took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up axe and armor he uses now. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Unemployed. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Unemployed. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Unemployed for hire.
