History: The child of a Carter, who enjoyed hunting, Lilli was taken on many hunting expeditions. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes orcs are coming to abduct people. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Bree was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. She found a children's book about a Halfling Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: Many orcs want her driven away.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Shanairla was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the west were limited. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things.
