Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His brown hair is smooth and relatively long. His eyes are brown and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she very much looks the part of a Guard. She has dyed her greying red hair a little too much giving a sharp red color. Her eyes are blue.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Duvamil was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: This woman stands a little under 6'2" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears a black cloak and cross-gartered tan stockings. Her hair is silver and curly. This silver eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Semyaza was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tiefling companion (her 'brother'). She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and a strong sense of loyalty to tiefling people

Description: She has the majority of her body covered in plate. Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her pickaxe, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. She has no hair. Her eyes are likewise amber.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Birel fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.

Description: Her right side is far more bruised and cut up than her other. She wears a grey vest and prefers violet and white shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. Her long black hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She has all her life been fascinated with painting.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and money/treasure
