She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the south. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered music. Now she works as a music tutor during her time off.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and she wants revenge against dire rats

She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Slave Trader.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: Varis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He tends to his Gardener job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and he would like to get married and retire
