History: He was born in the north. After coming to the age of reason, Serpent took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Description: With yellow face paint in a stripe pattern across her face, she is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by her earthly robes.. Her red hair has been sun bleached extensively. Her amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: She was born into a rich family. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. After months of barely getting by, Sariel managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has all his life been fascinated with poetry.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shoemaker. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: An older woman who very much looks the part of a Scribe, she is not a threatening figure. She wears a colorful flower in her cinnamon fur. She is baby faced.

Personality: This woman loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and an old rival family wants her found
