History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Corkitron grew up listening to his father's many stories. Corkitron was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Corkitron decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Marigold is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He tends to his Bookbinder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and balancing his hectic life and new bookbinder responsibilities is difficult

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
