History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When Quarion reached his early adolescence his Half-Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. History: Engong was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Engong was born on a far western island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Bather. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Katherine was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Through the years after Katherine was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Katherine's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Katherine and her spouse have recently divorced.
