History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rael grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rael. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She got into the Slave Trader business at a young age. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She uses divination through singing.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. She always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She is content; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Jane lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
