History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Hagren and his spouse have recently divorced.
