When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently the stress of being a Herbalist has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
