Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Gifted from a young age, Ulblyn studied abroad. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ulblyn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: She wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. She sports a flattop hair cut. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is obsessed with her god.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His crest is brass and curly. His gold eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: She is a husky woman, who wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). Her auburn hair is wavy and long. Her eyes are amber and beady.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born in the north to a Guard, Susannah learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Susannah alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

Motivation: Many giants want her driven away; and balancing her hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult

Description: This man stands a little under 6'2" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears skinny pants and wears a black and white robe with the hood down. His rusty crest is greasy and uncared for. His gold eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
