History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: She is a small woman, but exceptionally fit. She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. She wears a feathered hat to hide her balding. Her eyes are a pleasant silver.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Weaver arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His hair is chestnut and curly. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. He found a children's book about a Halfling Rogue who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing brown cape and mantle trimmed with soft grey waves gently in the breeze. Her top hat is riddled with cuts and holes. This brown eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she's in love

Description: A middle-aged man, he is wearing a long, tan cloak, and is pretty ugly. He is bald on top and has large brown tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes are likewise brown.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His first spouse was a Mayor, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.
