History: She comes from a rich northern family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Carlin was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Mortician work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mortician work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has worked as a Mortician like her father before her.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Garl was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
