History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Valanthe grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Valanthe. She has never given up on her painting dream.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bowyer for the past few years.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Her first spouse was a Farmer, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 15 years.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Guard. She tends to her Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult; and to be a bowyer again

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.
