Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Shadow's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shadow grew up listening to his father's many stories. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: An older man who is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Scribe, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is red, silky, and of moderate length. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. He sports a flattop hair cut. His eyes are likewise hazel.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His childhood dream was to be a Animal Trainer, but he was a colossal failure. He struck the Cartwright job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and to unite with his brother

Description: This man is very fat, and is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has styled his chestnut hair well, parting it to the right. His ears are large.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His first spouse was a Shoemaker, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bernard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To end his boredom.

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 5'9" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. Her blonde hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep amber.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born in the west to a Bricklayer, Sumnes learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Sumnes liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
