His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Cory is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Cory lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Stylist they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Locksmith, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She has all her life been fascinated with writing.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Servant arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: This man is very fat, and wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with Stetson hat. His white hair is thinning but still full. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: This woman loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. Avelina enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
