History: Katherine lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Gardener they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Carpenter, and she later adopted a second daughter.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Guard arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Therlin was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She's also a talented Interpreter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Hubert hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
