History: Pyra was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She was granted martial powers by her dying brother.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Burgell was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
