History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: Ronwe was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She got into the Bowyer business at a young age. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Recently the stress of being a Bowyer has made it difficult for her to sleep.
