Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with poetry. She constantly tries to fill her life with poetry. The war was a terrible time for her, and Meriele does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Meriele was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle.

She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Description: This man prefers to wear flannel, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His auburn hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gifted student he started as a Brewer, but he got bored and became a Barkeep. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
