History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and many gnolls want him driven away

Description: She is an attractive woman, lean and moderately muscular. She wears brown leather gloves, a brown jacket, and tight pants. Her fur is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are green.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered east to less war torn lands. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Shadow was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Many gnolls want her driven away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it

Description: He is wearing a tight blue one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape, and he perpetually has his bastard sword ready. His moppish blonde hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Frug took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up bastard sword and armor he uses now. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Frug fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Shax alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against goblins; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it
