History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Beggar. He has worked as a Beggar like his mother before him.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born in the west to a Tanner, Emerald learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She worked as a nervous Tanner and found it very stressful. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Tanner responsibilities is difficult; and to get a good night's sleep
