Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Pyra grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Pyra. After a long history of fighting, Pyra and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Gifted from a young age, Emmeline studied abroad. Through the years after Emmeline was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Emmeline's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 14 years.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. A freak accident while working with her Engraver mother left her crippled. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. After a long history of fighting, Galiena and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
