The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Dain took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shortspear and armor he uses now. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Dain was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact

Personality: Kriv is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He tends to his Weaver job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
