History: He got into the Crown-heir business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Crown-heir. During his travels, Barakas and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Barakas discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Barakas fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Norman never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Seamstress they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Navigator, and he later adopted a second daughter.
