Description: An older man who wears blue trousers with white and red striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts, he is not a threatening figure. His brown hair is heavily combed to the left. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Kellen was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She takes great joy in being the best Painter in town.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Painter arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In her youth she was a Glassblower, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She became a Painter soon after.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A freak accident while working with her Stableman mother left her crippled. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and wants her loneliness to end

Description: This man is very fat, and wears black trousers with violet and white striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. He is bald on top and has large red tufts of hair around his ears. He has amber eyes and a black hat with a violet feather.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Olgoth was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Elven compassion; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

Description: This late middle aged man wears dull black sweaters, loose blue pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed nunchaku, just in case and is in decent physical shape. His black hair is heavily combed to the left. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He got into the Mayor business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Miller, but he got bored and became a Mayor. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
