History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her childhood dream was to be a Mason, but she was a colossal failure. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Miner for the past few years.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: Gurdis was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He dresses well, wearing pastel shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His fur is cut close to his head. He has several tiny ruby earrings on each ear.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His first spouse was a Map Maker, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To unite with his brother.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born in the north to a Fortune-teller, Ahvain learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
