History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Ûgakûga was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Ûgakûga's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Soapmaker.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. One day when Dean was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Dean was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
