When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: He is a husky man, who wears a simple blue robe with brown stripes complete with hood. His tied-back hair is red. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his violet eyes.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Tanner. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Tanner arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Tanner for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Tanner responsibilities is difficult; and he has money and likes to spend it

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He now owns his own business.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Revenge; and he wants revenge against giants
