History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. After coming to the age of reason, Aldous took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Miller for the past few years.

Description: Her left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She wears blue leather gloves, a blue jacket, and tight pants. Her deerstalker hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Her gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Weaver arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She now mingles about in high society.

Description: An imposing woman with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right leg, she is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. Her white crest is matted, messy, and big. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. Dentratha enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Dentratha was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bricklayer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to gnolls.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she seems to be bored by most things

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she prefers to wear flannel. Her blonde hair is smooth and relatively long. Her gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 35. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and she feels threatened by others

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around her neck, and a lance on her belt. She keeps her chestnut hair in a flapper bob. Her fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Margery hails from a village terrorized by drow. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Margery took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up lance and armor she uses now. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.
